Stranger Than Fiction
Sutton keeps having flashbacks to what happened 28 years ago to her and her friends on that fateful trip. At the same time, she is trying to collect evidence to help find Mason. But as she visits the crime scene, the private detective Ian confronts her. He wants to turn her in, but instead she convinces him to go with her, and she will reveal what happened 28 years ago. Upon arriving at the house, she frees the Heathen again and allows Ian to ask it questions. However, Heathen has questions of its own for Sutton.
Another Demon Walks Amongst Us
This issue brings a lot to the table and really pushes the story forward. Ryan Parrott does a great job of slowly revealing things to fill in the mysterious world we find ourselves in. Parrott uncovers just enough truths that it builds up suspense and really has the reader wanting more. The clearer picture that is being revealed really allows the reader to become more familiar with Sutton and her plight. Couple that with the sure terror of Mason’s predicament, and this is a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
The illustrations in this book perfectly complement the story’s unsettling atmosphere. Letizia Cadonici skillfully interprets this unsettling narrative through her artwork. The character design possesses a distinctly eerie quality, while the background settings contribute an equally unsettling atmosphere. Alessandro Santoro enhances the visuals through thoughtful color selections, effectively capturing the essence and intent of the story.

Final Thoughts
It Killed Everyone But Me #2 moves the story forward and reveals some of the mystery that was built up in issue one. The narrative draws you in, leaving you eager to find out what happens next. The artwork vividly illustrates both the unsettling aspects of the story and the eerie environment that surrounds the characters. If you are looking for a horror thriller book, this is the issue and series for you.
