The Hatfield’s and McCoy’s of Space

After centuries of fighting, the Space Sharks led by King Remora and the Crystalline Empires leader Emperor Glasstor, are about to enter into a historic truce. Space Ghost, along with Jace & Jan are keeping an eye out in case this becomes a double cross. Just then, an assassin tries to take out one or both of the leaders. Not only does this make our heroes jump into action, but it also makes both leaders distrust the other. Now, the empires are waging war with each other again and the Planet Liquo stands to be destroyed, while Jace has been taken prisoner for the attempted assassination.

The World May End

This issue is the first of two issues in a little mini event. David Pepose does an excellent job of building this story and setting the stage for the conclusion. Very reminiscent of the Batman TV show from the 60’s, all we are missing is a narrator’s voice. Space Ghost is always a fantastic read, due to Pepose’s willingness to take big swings, which pay off more times than not. This issue sets up a great story and has the reader on the edge of our seats waiting for the conclusion.

The artwork featured in this issue is outstanding, reflecting the high quality found throughout the entire series. Jonathan Lau consistently delivers exceptional work, demonstrating his high level of expertise and reputation within the industry. Andrew Dalhouse expertly coordinates the colors with the artwork, and Taylor Esposito infuses genuine feeling into the lettering. This accomplished art team continues to demonstrate excellence, delivering another outstanding issue!
