The Story for Issue #5 of The Rocketfellers
When their daughter needs to be rushed to the emergency room, the Rocketfellers forget everything else, and focus on her. However, being from the future, the medicine of today seems barbaric, and terrifying. Meanwhile, their son’s genius level extra curricular activities have created an issue at home, and put them on the radar of the Russian mob… kids. We then wrap up with a watchful eye. Someone very “close” is watching.
The Art
The Rocketfellers continue to have beautiful, detailed, and creative art on every single page. Each scene perfectly helps tell the amazing story of a family from the future hiding in 2025. The little incredible details in their home, help remind you that these are real people who just want to live their life and raise their children. Then the action and future scenes remind you, this family is no ordinary family.
Overall Grade: 10/10
The plot thickens as the family is doing the most average thing in the world: dealing with an unexpected kid issue, and worrying about it. Completely unaware that their 2025 life, and their futuristic/their present life are both in danger. Despite the incredibly unique and efficient security system they have at home, they’re still on the radar of some potentially dangerous people. Also, their daughter’s new pet just created another issue. An issue that took me by surprise as we learn a little more about the Rocketfellers.
All in all, The Rocketfellers just continues to get better with each issue. As I get more invested in this family, the overall plot gets more interesting. If you haven’t yet checked out The Rocketfellers, there is no better time than the present. Unless of course you can time travel.
