Sh!+eater is back to wrap up his 4 issue arc in the comic Barfly. Part of the world of Minor Threats, this adorable little man fly has a heart of gold, a badass jacket, and an evil father. As his evil father attempts to take over the world with the help of his giant bugs, he thinks Sh!+eater will always do his bidding. However, people (or people/bug hybrids) can only be pushed so far, before they break.

The Story for Issue 4
This issue kicks right off at the height of the “BUGPOCALYPSE.” The Entomologist is at full cosmic power and determined to take down humankind with his own personal bug army. As hero after hero is taken down in vulgar ways by various creatures, there is only one person who can really stop him. However, no good deed ever seems to go unpunished.
The Art
Throughout these 4 issues the art has been absolutely amazing. While the art in every comic is there to combine with the story and bring to life the impossible on the pages of a comic. The Art in Barfly goes the extra mile. In addition to the beautiful art and colors, there are details that just make it extra hilarious. From a guy drinking, “Michael’s Difficult Lemonade” to the various versions of the cat lady, the art in this makes an already phenomenal comic book, that much more awesome.
Barfly #4 Rating 9.5/10
The World of Minor Threats has been one amazing story after another, and Barfly is at the top of the list for me. I was sad to see little Sh!+eater’s 4 issue story come to an end, but so thrilled that this world is continuing to grow, and that Barfly may be growing right along with it.
All in all, if you’re looking for an entertaining, hilarious, and gorgeous (while also gross) comic, Barfly MUST be added to your pull list. You can enjoy it stand alone, or right along side the various other titles, that make up the world of Minor Threats. Minor Threats had me hooked way before the introduction of Sh!+eater, but this lovable little Barfly earned a special place in my heart.
