The Glowing Man Returns
Geiger #7 opens with Geiger AKA the Glowing Man engaging in battle with some Knights that were hunting him. Nate recognizes the leader of the Knights and tries to convince him that Geiger is a good guy. The Knight tries to kill Nate, which seals his fate.
As Nate tries to make sense of what’s been going on, they come across some kids who are being attacked by Nightcrawlers. Geiger and the family lend a hand and battle the Nightcrawlers. The kids are surprised that a “monster” like Geiger would help them. Meanwhile, the New King is plotting on how to finally get the Glowing Man.
They’re Our Friends
Geoff John’s continues this post-apocalyptic tale and once again weaves in the unexpected. What makes Gieger work is the amount of side missions that the group goes on. These side missions aren’t just filler, we learn more about Geiger and the entire team through them. The main story and mission are always front and center, but it’s these fun side events that sell the book for me.
The art in Geiger is some of the best out today. The Glowing Man effects alone are worth the price of the book. Add in to that the awesome backgrounds and insane amount of detail. This art team is second to none.

Final Thoughts
If you were waiting for Geiger to cool down, you’re still waiting. Geiger #7 continues us on the journey to find a cure well being hunted and adds a world building side quest to boot. If you want bang for your buck, you’ve come to the right place. Geiger continues to be one of my monthly favorites. Go to your LCS and make it one of yours as well.
Final Grade: 9/10
