Raymond’s art on this second issue is incredible. This character and story are just 2 issues in, and the art alone is quite incredible. Raymond has taken this issue’s story and made the art beautiful, and also so wild and crazy as well. Add in Arif’s coloring work and Troy’s lettering, and the issue is already amazing.

Mark’s writing this issue is incredible. He has taken this character and given him a brand-new story, and it’s incredible. I love all of the twists and turns this issue takes, and it’s incredible. Mark and the team are creating a beautiful comic, and it’s a delicious book to read.

So this month’s issue is showing the brutal conflict between both the Franchettis and the Russians, and we are getting an all-out gang war between them. Meanwhile, Jackie is still struggling with his newfound powers, all the while The Angelus is setting her sights on him, and is going to stop at nothing to destroy The Darkness.

Overall Grade: 10/10

Mark and the team have woven a beautiful story in this second issue. I cannot wait to see where we are headed with this next issue.
