WRITING:

This series delivers another action-packed issue with this book. Dan Watters does an incredible job of not just giving us some kick ass action (which he does) but also continues to unfold the greater story. Watters tying in names and beings from the TMNT lore, while still delivering a fresh take is truly awesome. The adult tones with the action and violence are also a welcomed addition, as this book may be the most adult oriented book in the entire line. As the main story unfolds it draws the reader further in and makes you want a lot more.

ARTWORK:

The artistic contributions in this issue complement the narrative and effectively enhance its intensity. Michele Bandini skillfully portrays dynamic action sequences and the impact of violence, adding depth to the story. The depiction of fight scenes and their aftermath is executed with notable expertise. Marco Lesko enriches the artwork through thoughtful color choices, while Darran Robinson demonstrates proficiency in lettering. The seamless collaboration of the entire art team is evident in the quality of the final product.

Final Thoughts

Shredder #3 is another awesome issue in this awesome series. The story is intriguing and full of suspense as the reader is taken on a hell of a ride. Couple this with some of the best action sequences in comics with a gratuitous amount of violence, and you have the makings of one of the most kick ass books on the shelves. This issue and series are a must have, so make sure it is on your Pull List at the LCS, trust me you won’t regret it.
