The Story for Sisterhood: A Hyde Street Story #1
When two young friends suffer a a tragedy, it grows them closer than ever before. While they couldn’t be more different, their bond is unbreakable. As they kick off their college years, tragedy strikes again. However, this time, a little dark magic and the supernatural come into play in the most unexpected way.
The Art
Every page throughout Sisterhood, A Hyde Street Story, was absolutely beautiful. From sunshine, to raindrops, and everything in between. Both the expressions on every character, and the background for every scene were perfectly detailed and created a gorgeous setting for an amazing story. As tragedy struck the second time, the art took it to an even more impressive and beautiful level. The art then wrapped up with some disturbingly beautiful scenes that showcased the sudden shift in the story.
Overall Grade: 9.5/10
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. The bonds of sisterhood via blood or circumstance is strong. There’s nothing some wouldn’t do for those they love. As we dig deeper into Hyde Street, we’ve learned not everything is black and white. A tragedy can quickly turn into a residency on Hyde Street. For that reason I keep falling more in love with the Hyde Street stories, and Sisterhood is no different. A fantastic first issue to another new story, with an unexpected cliff hanger of an ending.
