As this family from the future is forced to live in the olden times (AKA 2025), the future time traveling hunters are getting closer. In more ways than one. While The Rocketfellers still try to maintain a healthy marriage, kids, and just as close to a normal life as is possible for time fugitives, it’s unsure how much longer they can maintain this. The cherry on top in the last issue was their son with a laptop who really misses the future. Fortunately when they escaped their future they also brought along the world’s best watch dog.

The Story for Issue 6 of The Rocketfellers
Since The Rocketfellers arrived in 2024, Roland (AKA Dad) has been busy at work in the basement, researching an eyeball. The eye recently went missing, and once it was found a lot more was realized. The realization coming to, was anything but subtle. Suddenly Roland is forced to come clean to more than just his family, as some things are just too crazy to be explained without the absolute truth.
The Art
I continue to love the art with every single issue of The Rocketfellers. The expressions, the actions, the background details… they all compliment each other so well. From the excitement of a little girl, to the fear on a father’s face. It all comes across beautifully and in perfect unison with the story. One particular scene was quite disgusting and chaotic, but still beautifully drawn and colored.
Overall Grade: 9.3/10
Every issue gets us closer to why this incredibly sweet and loving family had to flee to a time centuries before their own. This story continues to be a relatable tale of a family just trying to do their best, while being an intense action sci-fi at the same time. It’s never easy being a parent, but traveling centuries away with your kids to protect them from literal harm as well as mental trauma, takes parenting to a whole new level.
I was so invested in this issue, I audibly said, “No!” when I realized I was on the last page. I can’t wait for the next issue. If you haven’t checked out The Rocketfellers yet, do it before issue 7. It just keeps getting better.
