Logan is the best at what he does, but so often he’s faced with the unspeakable. While just trying to help a kid cursed with the Wendigo virus a new obstacle was put in his way. An obstacle relating to the metal fused to the bones in his body. Last we saw Wolverine, his elf friend arrived in the nick of time. However, what Logan now faces, only a Wolverine may be able to defeat.

The Story for Issue 6

Something out there seems to want to cleanse the earth of all adamantium. As Logan fights mentally and physically, to figure out what’s happening, he gets a little help from a fellow adamantium filled mutant. As they team up to fight what seems like an impossible fight, they’re left face to face with an incredibly old nemesis.

The Art

This issue of Wolverine had all the Wolvie art you could want. There were epic pages filled with SNIKTS galore. All while showcasing the many emotions of Logan. The art on the very last page was just the perfect ending to an action filled comic that had a hell of a final reveal.

Overall Grade: 9.5/10

From issue #1 I felt this Wolverine run has been everything you would want from a Wolvie comic. You get classic Wolverine vibes, yet there are unexpected twists and turns throughout. The last page of Wolverine #6 was just that. A classic Wolverine nemesis showed up, but not the one I was expecting. I am more hyped than ever for this run, as I cannot wait to see where this story leads now that we know who’s been pulling the adamantium strings. I got to give this issue 9.5 cigars out of 10. SNIKT!
