Right off the heels of issue number six, Quinlan is in trouble. Peter is trying to save Quinlan from the nanites. It has really spread quickly, and Peter is figuring out what to give her, as far as the cure. Finally, he figures it out and gives her a shot.
Quinlan said that Rhys would always come and save the day. It seems that Quinlan is worried about humanity itself, because if the n a n i t e s get to more people, and they don’t have the cure, they can die. Quinlan said when she was out of it, she was having flashbacks of fighting robots.
DON’T MISS THE TOP 10!
It seems that back at the lab, there is a lot of experiments happening on people. The scientists have been perfecting to get super soldiers. They really look similar to how Cyborg looks like, from the Justice League. Most of the scientists are explaining how much work and money they put into them. All of them are still hunting Peter, since he had escaped. They can’t find him, and one of the scientists says that he is one of a kind. They need his prototype to make sure that future robots work correctly.
Back with Quinlan and Peter, they find a piece of old technology, they are hoping to revive. Quinlan said she is going to give it her best try, and hopefully it works. I really love the dynamic between Quinlan and Peter. I kind of feel they have a bit of a connection. Peter really wants to stop the n a n i t e s, and he definitely has a plan to do that. He’ll just need some assistance when it comes to all the robotic items that he needs.
I like the art in this comic, like I do every time I ready Rat City. I like how vibrant the colors are, especially in the action scenes. Hopefully, there will be opportunity for Peter to move forward in his life, and not be used as a super soldier. It becomes apparent that Peter cares for Quinlan’s safety, and the safety of humanity.
I give this issue a 7.9/10.
