What’s Up Comic Fans!? Rich from the NI Bullpen finally jumping into one of my favorite publishers, Ghost Machine. Can’t believe it took me this long to review one of their books, but at last here we are.
Geiger #6 is written by Geoff Johns, art by Gary Frank, colors by Brad Anderson, and letters by Rob Leigh. Geiger is published by Ghost Machine/Image Comics.
Let’s find out what Geiger, Nate, and Barney are up to now.
***Minor Spoilers Possible***
Wounded Animals
Geiger, Nate, and Barney the 2 headed wolf seek refuge in a building and even though Geiger tries to feed Barney, he won’t eat. Nate and Geiger are seriously worried about Barney’s health. Before the other two awaken Barney wonders off and his adventure begins.
Well walking down the rode Barney finds a 3-eyed zebra and he follows the zebra back to a zoo. Unfortunately, at the zoo there are hunters who are killing the animals, especially the “freaks”. Can Barney help the animals, or will they all be doomed?
All We Can Do Is Hide
Geiger #6 is a unique story. Geoff Johns takes us on a side mission with Barney and it pays off. The fact that most of this story is without dialogue, and still draws you in, shows how good of a tale it is.
Speaking of not much dialogue, this book relies on the art and its in good hands. Gary Frank not only draws incredible art in this book, but he also must do the story telling with said images. He crushes this task. Add in the realistic colors by Brad Anderson and you have a winning art department.

Geiger has been a stellar story through and through. Geiger #6 is no different. Extra kudos go to the unique aspect of this issue. If Geiger is not already on your Pull List, add it NOW. Trust me you want to get caught up on this book and follow it religiously from here on out.
Final Grade: 9/10
