In this final issue of Petrol Head, it seems that things are wrapping up with Petrol Head’s journey. Now, Petrol Head is on his way to the O-Zone. He is stopped by this robot that is in charge of the path getting there.
The robot insults him, and automatically makes judgements and insults him. This makes Petrol Head furious, and he tries to convince the robot to let him use one of the cars, to get through the O-Zone.
Of course, that doesn’t stop Petrol Head in getting what he needs, and kept going to get to the final destination.
Syd gets into a situation, by the robots demanding the nano-bots. Petrol Head sees what is happening, and defends Syd and tells them to leave her alone.
Petrol Head realizes that this particular robot has killed his friends, and immediately gets angry. Both Syd and Petrol Head head off into the car, to escape and get past the robots.
Syd gets him to put on the break, and scoops up Dave and asks if he can fix Dave, the bird. Petrol Head is not sure if he can fix him, but will give it a shot. At the end, they finally arrive at the O-Zone.
This final arc has been so excellent for Petrol Head. I’m wondering where both Petrol Head and Sys will travel to in that O-Zone. It’s been an interesting ride to see both character’s come alive on the comic panels. The art is wonderful, with many beautiful colors , and the shading is beautiful.
