Pocus Hocus Series Recap Part 2
Welcome to part 2 of our Pocus Hocus Series Recap!
The second issue of Pocus Hocus opens up with the demon confessing to Pocus that he has a gambling problem. He explains that he lost a poker game with other demons and tried to fleece them with fake winnings, which got out of hand.
By out of hand, I mean he killed all the other demons at the table.
Now the demon is in debt, but he has a plan to sort this out. Using Pocus, the demon plans to trick volunteers from Pocus’ shows into signing a waiver that gives ownership of their souls to the demon.
While Pocus is initially reluctant to agree to the plan, he eventually changes his mind after realizing that the demon’s destruction would also mean his own demise. Which means he really doesn’t have a choice in the matter at this point.
The issue closes out with his assistant Emily, confronting Pocus about a contract she found while attempting to find is spell book. It’s the contract he made with the demon for his soul, and Emily is NOT impressed one bit.
