Daddy’s Home
Xamot & Tomax, fresh off their takeover of M.A.R.S Industries and their partnership with Cobra Commander gloat about their success. Unfortunately for them Destro is back, and he isn’t alone. Chameleon & Mercer waste no time taking out the Red Guard. After the dust settles Destro shocks everyone with his decision after his clear-cut victory.
I Forgive You
Dan Watters continues to weave an amazing origin tale for one of Cobra’s all-star characters. As the Energon Universe builds more steam on the way to G.I Joe #1, Watters is showing us the complexity of not only Destro, but the alliance of Cobra as a whole.
The art in this series is second to none. Every issue my opinion stays the same and that isn’t a bad thing. Andrei Bressan & Adriano Lucas always give me a nostalgia feel, well also breathing new life into legendary characters.
