Storm and Killmonger are still working together, at the beginning of this issue. A lot of getting past guards, and trying to get to answers about the Vibranium.
The relationship between Storm and Killmonger is interesting, because they easily work together to get to a common task. To get the Vibranium back in Wakanda’s hands.
READ LAST ISSUE’S REVIEW!
On the other side of the world, in West Africa, Khonshu is speaking to the people of Wakanda. He is putting down T’Challa as a leader, and motivating the people to think differently about him. That they can believe in Khonshu and Ra to help them with whatever that they need. T’Challa is undercover, and both Shuri and T’Challa are horrified. Khonshu really believes that he is some sort of God.
T’Challa wants to fight for the people, but Shuri encourages him to come home and regroup. Back with Storm and Killmonger, not only are they trying to find the Vibranium, They are also trying to break out this doctor, who is a sorcerer, to help them defeat Khonshu. At the end, they run into a new person named the Goddess. She ends up getting to the doctor first.
Again, like I mentioned every week the art is impressive. It gives again that special attention to the action in the comic. I also love that the characters always have something they are working on. Whether either working with each other, or trying to protect their people. I am hoping to see T’Challa figure out how he can defeat Khonshu for good.
I’m really excited to see if Storm and Killmonger are able to defeat Goddess, and retrieve the sorcerer so that he can help them.
