Detective Strikman and Wickstrom are back it, trying to find answers for the missing girl. Bennie ends up talking to a neighbor, and the neighbor explained that he hasn’t seen the girl in many years.
They will continue on their search to find answers. Meanwhile, Tabitha and Ethan are mending their relationship, and Tabitha is being a comfort to Ethan. Ethan explains a little bit about his hands, being an accident.
Flashing forward to Strikman, who went back to Shelly’s house to review her letters. In many ways, she was an average kid. Bennie realizes through Shelly’s letters that they have more in common than he thought. Bennie breaks down, as he understands that both Shelly and himself were never treated like children, they are treated like experiments.
READ LAST ISSUE’S REVIEW
Detective Wickstrom is talking to the chief, and suddenly it’s a hold up. The chief explains that she has to keep the Keeper Program safe. The chief ends up shooting Detective Wickstrom, and ends up killing her.
At the end of the issue, Detective Strikman finds a clue in the letter, and goes to see Elondra’s Falcon. He is a scientist working on something, and Strikman end up finding him, and Falcon reveals that he is about to show him will “destroy him.”
This issue was good, again there were tons of flashbacks, going back in forth between the past and present. The colors again, are very nice and lots of great shading. Especially with the details in the art, for each different character. What makes this issue great, is that the stakes are continuing to be higher and higher. I become engrossed on Detective Strikman’s journey of finding the truth.
