The Story for Minor Threats: The Last Devil Left Alive #3
We kick right off with a villain monologue. Always good explaining for the plot, which suddenly appears a lot more complicated than originally seemed. It also connects past stories, making the Minor Threats world bigger and smaller at the same time.
Meanwhile both Frankie and her daughter deal with their recent interaction. Both in very unhealthy ways. In an attempt to break generational trauma, it appears Frankie guaranteed it. However, now is no time to sulk, as Frankie gets ready for the next step, and meets someone, or something. When all seems lost an old “face” appears, while an old love still plots her revenge.

Art
If I could use only two words to describe the art in Minor Threats: The Last Devil Left Alive #3, it would be disgustingly beautiful.
There’s a new character that rolled into this issue. The level of detail, beauty, and absolute grossness in this one character shows how absolutely amazing this world is, in story and art. One page can make me ooh, awe, and cringe. All while, making sure I take in every inch of every page, so I don’t miss anything. From the backgrounds to the tiny details on a costume, or a sign, the art is perfect.

Overall Grade: 9.5/10
Generational trauma, gentrification to the extreme, revenge, a devil’s bargain, redemption, and more… what else could you want in a single comic book? We’re 3 issues into this 5 issue story arc, and the plot has thickened all around. While, Frankie shoves her feelings aside, to focus on the real problem, it seems this may be what bites her in the ass in the end.
