The Story for Archie VS. Minor Threats #3
It’s Freaky Friday for the Riverdale world and Minor Threats. Everything has been flipped turned upside down, but in the most hilarious, evil, and fun way imaginable. Frankie, now just a student at Riverdale has everything she could ever want, but she also has a dark secret. An “innocent” dark secret. However, this secret could save everyone and un-freaky the Friday.
With the help of her loyal and, not crustacean or bug like friends, she’s determined to win the talent show, stop the villains, and set things right! With other players on both sides, things aren’t as simple as they seem. This talent show is about to turn into the monster mash.

The Art
Archie VS. Minor Threats continues to perfectly nail the collaboration of Archie and Minor Threats in story and art. While one is innocent, and the other not so much, they’re both beautifully colored, and just seem to work so well together. It’s like peanut butter and chocolate.
I loved seeing the Archie gang break bad, and some of the Minor Threats crew break good. You knew who everyone was right away. The spins were both spot on, and perfectly executed in the art.
We also, of course continue to get so many pop culture references and details throughout, that make the Minor Threats comics so fun to take in. While many of the runs have different artists, every page always kills it, and the Archie art takes it all to a whole new level.
Overall Grade: 9/10
I’m still absolutely loving this crossover. It’s not as simple as when it first started. There are so many layers to what is going on. Frankie is someone who had an incredibly toxic childhood, having a mother for a supervillain. Now she finds herself in a world where kids are raised properly, yet she needs to be the hero.
Archie VS. Minor Threats is an action packed fun story with twists and turns, layers underneath it, and filled with incredible characters. Both old and new. If you love a good unexpected crossover, fantastic art, and amazing storytelling, grab Archie VS. Minor Threats today!
