All Out Invasion

As the Mu’Tant’s invade the Cat’s Lair, the Knights of Thundera try to push them back. Even though the Cat’s thwart Slythe’s attempt to save his son, they still show mercy on Scail and set him free. Meanwhile, the war wages on and the Knights start to get the upper hand. Apex has Vultureman in position to finish him off, until Panthro stops him, which starts a battle between them. At the same time, Bengali and Tygra get into a bit of a spat yet again. As the Knight’s start the in fighting, Cheetara must pull them together before it’s too late. Apex, with Bengali’s indirect assistance, kills Vultureman, which might lead the Cats down a troubling path.

Knights No More

ThunderCats #19 ups the action and drama to new heights. Declan Shalvey does a great job with this action-packed issue. But the action really takes a backseat to the drama the Cat’s find themselves in. The in fighting is at an all-time high, well the now murderous ways of Apex really disturb the balance of the ThunderCat’s morals. There is only one person who can set the Cat’s straight, but where is Lion-O?

The art in this issue is fantastic and really gives the reader a front row seat to the violence and battles. Drew Moss & Joe Mulvey do an awesome job of showing the drama and action that make this issue so special. The focus on the emotions and the personal struggle amongst the Cat’s really shines through in every panel.
