Power Rangers Prime #11- We Have Family Issues

We have family issues. Writer Melissa Flores, Artists Michael YG, Colorist Joana Lafuente, and Letterer Ed Dukeshire have made another fantastic issue.

We kickstart the issue with a flashback to about 6 years ago. We see Jayden and Lauren’s house, and the 2 of them are playing hide and seek in the house. Lauren proceeds to go to the closet, thinking her brother is in there, but she finds a surprise instead. She confronts her dad about it, and he said that he is trying to protect his kids. 

From that, we then see Jun’s dad and Lauren in a chamber together. He confronts her and then brings out a surprise for her. Meanwhile, in the Abandoned Chamber, Jun, Valentina, Mark, and Orion are with Rita. She is showing them how their powers aren’t just about strength. Jun’s mom then walks in. 

We then see Lauren with her dad, and he is telling her that she should’ve stayed away, and that the Eltarians have her brother. Jun’s dad then mentions she can help him by saying where the rangers are. Rita and Jun’s mom then get into a scuffle, and the team goes outside. 

Mark is outside, and him, Jun, and the others talk. We then cut back to Jun’s mom and Rita fighting. They then get into a conversation, and then Ryan and the rest of the VR Troopers pop up. They are then given their orders, and Ryan mentions they have to follow those orders. Jun’s dad then surprises the rest of the Rangers, and the final panel shows the team morphing. 

Overall Grade: 10/10 

This issue packed so much into it, and I loved it. This sets up what is coming next issue, and I cannot wait.
