“Time Flies, Man. Time Flies…”
Mike realizes at a young age that time seems to rush by in life. He goes from a child to a high school graduate, to a college graduate, to the workforce in what seems like seconds. Furthermore, it seems to him that every time he makes a decision, the outcome is instantly there, and some time has already passed. This goes for his career, roommates, wife, mistress’/mister’s, everything. Before he knows it, he’s single and alone with no recourse to change. The worst part is that the cycle seems to continue.
“…Smoke’em if Ya Got’em”
Assorted Crisis Events #4 tells a story that we all can relate to, of course with a witty twist. Deniz Camp really thinks outside the box to deliver one of the most relatable stories. Although the story is straightforward, the connection the reader will make to it is what makes this story worthwhile. Sometimes the best way to make a strange tale is to make it real.
The art is amazing in this issue and makes the story even more unique. Eric Zawadzki really brings you into Mike’s world with his art. Depicting the stresses and even mundane parts of life makes this story feel even more realistic. Jordie Belaire does an expert job mixing up the colors, which helps show the time lapses in a clearer way.

Final Thoughts
Assorted Crisis Events #4 delivers a super relatable story, well also delivering a great moral in the process. The art of the short story telling in this issue and the series is just incredible. This book should be on your list to pick up at the LCS this week, and if you enjoy it, you should consider adding the series to your Pull List.
Overall Grade: 8.5/10
