Lucky Devils #3 continues to follow Collar and Rake as they plan to burn Hell and its rules to the ground.
Their plan includes making two innocent souls two of the most influential people on Earth. Each issue tackles a level in Hell, with issue #3 taking on Gluttony.
Will Collar and Rake prevail and what will that mean for Earth and Hell?

The Art:
Ryan Browne has always had a fun way of depicting these unique stories from Charles in a light, yet whimsical tone.
Lucky Devils is no different as this may be about Hell and Devils, but they are about the cutest devils you’ll ever see depicted in media. LOL
Everything from the comedy club down in Hell and the interactions between the devils and their humans are done in such a great way for audiences of all ages!

The Writing:
Soule is one of my favorites and for good reason. He seamlessly pivots from Eight Billion Genies to Lucky Devils and even Eddie Brock Carnage and that’s why he’s one of the most respected writers in the game.
In issue #3 of Devils, Collar and Rake continue their master plan to upend the hierarchy Hell has. It’s a unique take on the world we live in currently, where more than one person in this world would agree that the game in real life is basically rigged.
But these two devils want to change all that and turn these two innocent souls into rare, influential game-changers in the world. And it’s working as unusual events have begun to happen in hell.
And as we see at the end of this thrilling issue, someone big is about to step in and find out what the “Heck” is going on.
Overall Grade: 9.0/10
This is where Browne and Soule thrive. Parallels to the real world with a mind-bending twist. The fact that these two devils are also in a relationship adds to how unique this storyline is.
There’s also a bit of a cameo that real Soule and Browne fans will flip over! Enjoy and can’t wait to see what’s next in issue #4!
