The Perfect Heist
Issue three opens with some history about the Devil, including that when he went against God not only was he banished from heaven, but God also took his soul. This is why the Devil collects souls to fill that void. We then catch up with our soulless group who are going to attempt to break into hell and retrieve their souls. As they put the final pieces together, they now embark on the greatest heist ever.
After entering hell, each one of our soul thieves get put into their own personal hell. Each very different, but all equally impactful. Just when they think they were unnoticed by the Devil, they find out that is not the case at all. Now the real game begins. Will they pull off the impossible or will this all be for not?
The Road to Hell…
The Big Burn #3 is a fun ride with a really good espionage feel to it. The story has a lot of heart and even though our heroes are majorly flawed, they all win us over and have us root for their success. Joe Henderson does a great job of tapping into the human emotion that sets this story apart, all well not sacrificing the fun and dark humor that makes this book so entertaining. The teaser for a possible sequel at the end is great and a lot of fun.
The art in this issue and series is good and matches the story beat for beat. Lee Garbett captures the essence of the story in every panel. While Lee Loughridge uses his color pallet to make each panel stand out. The art team accomplished their mission of bringing the story to life for the readers.

Final Thoughts
The Big Burn #3 is a great final issue of this arc. It ties up loose ends and brings a great deal of entertainment and emotion. Hopefully the teaser at the end will lead to a sequel arc. Make sure to add this issue, along with the other two issues before it to your list of what to pick up at the LCS this week.
Overall Grade: 9.5/10
