Back from Krakoa, Laura Kinney has been finding her place in the world. A world that isn’t too accepting of her. However, that doesn’t seem to hold her back from wanting to help others, and she’s found some help along the way herself. Last we saw her and Daredevil, things had gotten a bit out of control.

Story for Issue 3

An explosion can only hold a Wolverine back for so long. Once healed Laura and Elektra jump right back on the case. While Laura is running on anger and instinct, Elektra steers her in a better direction (as much she can). Amidst some amazing fight scenes, and hilarious back and forth the two them make some progress on their mission. Just as Wolverine thinks she can take a breather, a knock at the door proves otherwise. However, this surprise guest proves Laura Kinney: WOLVERINE isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

The Art

Laura Kinney: WOLVERINE continues to have some absolutely gorgeous fight scenes and still moments. From Wolverine and Daredevil above the city, to the amazing attack moments, to the smirks and eye rolls they give each other. Every single page was beautiful, entertaining, and moved the story along seamlessly.

Overall Grade: 10/10

An angry mutant healing adamantium filled Wolverine, and a ninja trained Daredevil make one hell of a team up. Laura and Elektra together not only compliment each other’s weaknesses, they’re quite hilarious together as well. They play off each other’s strengths, weaknesses, and wit perfectly. All in all, this makes for a amazing team up, some epic fights, and an overall fantastic comic. I’m absolutely loving this comic, and cannot wait for the knock at the door surprise guest in the next issue. SNIKT!
