Proof of Possession

Kevin enlists the help of Jess to help him convince his parents and Father Reid that Mara is possessed. He researches things that prove possession and plans on recording the test for proof. Meanwhile, President Boyle is taking a beating in the press after the incident with Mara was caught on camera and has gone virial. This is when her and her cabinet decide that Mara may have Havana Syndrome.

As the U.S is on the brink of war because of the Havana Syndrome fear, Father Reid reaches out to Mr. Doyle about his son’s concerns. As Kevin and Jess gather their evidence, will it be enough to bring the adults on board? Or will the demon in the White House corrupt all of them and send the world into war?

Speaking in Tongues

Issue three really turns the heat up on the story. Hannah Rose May weaves in the possession with the fear of war seamlessly. Each character has their own trajectory and there is a clear point where all those arcs will cross. The last few pages of this issue bring everything into perspective and leaves the reader wanting more.

The art in this issue is stunning and unique. The way the characters are drawn brings your eyes in and gives an eerie feel. Add in the dark colors and you get a true feeling of doom with hopelessness.
