The issue starts with Frankie, Draculaura, Clawdeen, and their classmates. They are all in class, and they are watching a video. Our mysterious narrator, CryptCrier has posted a video. And they are saying that everyone’s secrets are going to be revealed. And this has everyone kind of on edge.

But CryptCrier also mentions that the school’s former Headmistress disappeared just before the comic book started. We then see what looks like a fake video of Deuce and Cleo. And he knows if she sees this, it will be bad.

We then cut to Cleo in gym class, and it’s Dodgeskull day. And the opposing team is Zombies. And if you thought zombies wouldn’t be good at Skullball, you would be wrong. The scene then shifts to later in the day at the Graveball game. And we see the Fearleading team.

It is discovered that one of the Fearleaders, Decayla, has gone missing. And the ghouls are telling Toralei that Cleo should take over as captain for the game. And we see that kinda work out. But before that, we quickly see a little bit of the Graveball game, and MH’s team hasn’t done well this season.

We then cut back to the Fearleading team doing their routine. And Frankie ends up kinda messing up at the end. But Clawdeen and Draculaura are there to help her out. We then see Cleo and Draculaura have a quick conversion before Draculaura in bat form flies off.

Cleo then has a conversation with Clawdeen, which gets heated very quickly. Frankie and Cleo have a moment, which is a very sweet moment to see. We then see Cleo and Deuce having a moment together, and that is also a little heated as well.

The comic then cuts to Frankie and her dad. And we see both of them having a conversation. The comic ends with CryptCrier saying: “But enough about the Graveball team fumbling under pressure. Before I sign off, I have a message for you ghouls. Sometimes the monsters we trust the most can cast the darkest shadows.”

Final Score: 10

This issue not only highlights the struggles that everyone is going through but also that whatever is happening at Monster High, it’s not good. Jacque, Caroline, and the whole team are weaving such an interesting story And they are keeping the mystery of all very interesting and intriguing as well.
