Miles Morales, the typical high schooler with some amazing spider powers.  It seems that he has gotten close with Black Panther. The king talks to him about coming to Wakanda. Black Panther serves as a mentor to Miles, and he is very naive to the reactions he must have as a superhero.

DON’T MISS THE TOP 10!

While Miles is running around with Black Panther, he’s got someone going to school for him. Insert a shape-shifter, who looks exactly like Miles.

The shifter goes to school in place of Miles, so it looks like he is still in school.  I believe that Miles is missing valuable time being school, and hopefully he returns after this issue.

There are a lot of elements of horror during this issue, especially with Miles. It is hinting back to the BloodHunt issues, and I really enjoyed that. Miles now has to complete some tests that Black Panther gives him.

THE VENOM WAR ENDS!

Of course, there are some that he can do, but there are some he cannot pass. Black Panther advises Miles throughout these tests, but he doesn’t want to give him the answers to the tests. Miles realizes during this issue that he has a lot growing to do as well. I enjoy that he is taking in Black Panther’s advice. It seems that he wants to get better with understanding who he is, with his superpowers.

The art in this issue is lovely, just like in previous issues. I enjoy a lot of the action sequences that are in it. Especially when Miles is trying to pass some of the tests, while Black Panther is observing and watching. Readers really are rooting for Miles to step up with his powers. They want him to believe in himself that he can do it.  I hope there are more “tests” that help Miles strengthen where he is, and make him better.

I give this a 7.5/10.
