“You Have Failed Cobra-La”
Void Rivals #13 starts off hot with the introduction of the Cobra-La and Pythona. Who is interested in finding Energon sources. As they search for them, we catch up with Darak who is on the hunt for Jetfire. Although all he finds is a meeting with Minister Dulin.
Meanwhile, Premiere Zalilak goes to the Temple of Zerta’s Light looking for guidance. He doesn’t exactly get the guidance he is seeking but is informed by the Mistress that it doesn’t matter what he likes, it’s how it is.
“Unity is Our Future”
The kickoff issue for the next chapter of Void Rivals delivers us with the seeds to move the story forward. Introducing some new characters to the world that will make a huge crossover impact is clutch. Kirkman does a great job building on the world that he’s been creating, well keeping it fresh with new characters and situations.
The art in Void Rivals is breathtaking and shows the world in the best light. Lorenzo De Felici does an impeccable job with art and making the characters & world come to life. Delpeche’s colors highlight the world and set the mood in every panel.
