The Writing:

From the outset, it’s clear that something is amiss with Oliver, and the story cleverly unfolds this mystery. One of the highlights is the portrayal of the Arrow family’s unity, particularly in a heartwarming scene where they’re cooking breakfast together. This domestic tranquility is disrupted by Black Canary, who astutely senses a deeper problem, embodying the relatable role of a maternal figure rallying her family.
The writing excels in setting up the next story arc, leaving ample room for readers to speculate about Ollie’s motives and future developments. Williamson masterfully balances the plot’s tension with moments of levity, especially in the interactions between Oliver and Peacemaker, which provide a much-needed break from the high stakes.

Amancay Nahuelpan’s artwork, complemented by Romulo Fajardo Jr’s vibrant colors, is a visual feast.
