Jack Kirby was an icon in the world of comics and a large part of what made Marvel what it is today.
He was often referred to as the “King of Comics.”
He is best known for his work with Marvel Comics, where he co-created many of the company’s most iconic characters and franchises, including the Avengers, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four.
But even with all that under his belt, Kirby was often overlooked, especially when compared to Stan Lee.
