It’s A Mad Science World. Writer Jacque Aye, Artist Caroline Shuda, Colorist Katherine Shuda, and Letterer Kielamel Sibal have written an amazing issue.

We kick off with Frankie and Draculaura driving in Frankie’s car. They are on their way to the Museum Of Mad Science to go see a friend of Frankie’s dad. The ghouls arrive and are welcomed by Dr. Volts. Frankie then mentions that she is there for her dad’s Electromagnetic Frequency Modulator.
Meanwhile, Clawdeen, Cleo, Deuce, and Toralei are at the Die-ner together. Cleo gets a text from Lagoona about the Gloomtech Beauty protest happening in 10 minutes. We then cut to The Scaregrounds where Heath and Abbie are at a presentation that Gloomtech Beauty are having. Lagoona, Manny, and the other protesters the barge in and start chanting.
From there, we then cut back to the museum. Frankie and Dr. Volts are having a conversation about the modulator, and we also see a robot as well. The scene then cuts back to the scaregrounds, and the protestors as well. Clawdeen then says she is able to see Lagoona, and she is not looking happy.
Lagoona is worried that after everything that happened, no one will want to protest. Clawdeen tells her that it isn’t true at all. We then also learn that Lagoona has a plan for the next protest. Back at the museum, Frankie, Draculaura, and Dr. Volts have been unable to find a strong enough transmitter for the invention. Draculaura then remembers that she has one of the Dream Crystals from Gossamer Grove.
They then use the crystal, and it makes the invention work perfectly. We then learn Draculaura was planning on using the crystal to make a necklace out of it. The final shot shows the 2 of them driving away from the museum.
Overall Grade: 10/10
This comic is continuing to be amazing. Jacque and the team really made a fantastic story this issue. I can’t wait for Issue #3.
