It’s an all-out war. Writer/Artist Alice Darrow, Colorist Hugo Blanc, and Letterer Frank Cvetkovic made an amazing final issue.

I said it with the first 2 issues, but Alice’s art is something else, and I love it. She knows how to make the characters look incredible, but also how to make the world look beautiful as well. Add in Hugo’s colors and Frank’s lettering, and this comic comes together perfectly.
As for the story, Alice not only knows how to draw, but she also knows how to write a comic as well. These 3 characters are written so well, and Alice made each of them very relatable in their own way. She really knew how to flesh each one of them out beautifully.
This final issue sees the women heading to the desert haven that Cecil told them about. Along the way, they also end up having to make sacrifices and painful decisions to get ready for Quest Ragnor and his army. We also see the ladies go after him, and a satisfying ending that everyone will enjoy.
Overall Grade: 10/10
This mini-series from Dark Horse was amazing. Alice Darrow and her team really knocked it out of the park. I hope Alice creates more books with Dark Horse, she has a perfect artistic touch that works so well for comic books.
