I said it with last issue, but Alice’s art and story this issue is amazing. Seeing the girls having to kill a guy is amazing. But Alice also knows how to make the art fit the story as well.
The way the fight was written and drawn out was so cool to see as well. Add in the fight the girls get into, and the art and story speaks for it self.
Meanwhile, Hugo’s color work with a palette of Black, White, and Pink is amazing. He knows when and where to use these colors so effortlessly. Frank’s lettering work this issue is amazing. He knows how, when, and where the letters need to be placed. These 2 simple pieces make the comic so fun to read.
As for this issue’s story, Baby, Belladonna, and Babette are heading across the Nevada desert to find a secret weapon. It is something that can help them destroy all men. They also run into a problem when a man hunts them down as well, but they are able to take care of that no problem.
Overall Grade: 10/10
With just 1 issue left of this series, Alice Darrow and her team are continuing to make a beautiful comic. The writing and art really tie this entire book together.
