Dark Regards Rocks Out to Close the Show!
It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Witch Taint will finally perform for Lucifuge and the other Norwegian rockers. However, there’s a surprise, Monte isn’t dead! But he will be if their set sucks!
In Case You Missed It: Dark Regards #3 Battle of the Black Metal
This issue goes on a ton of twists and turns as Lance struggles to hold it together in the face of so much stress. His friends’ lives are on the line. Witch Taint’s reputation is on the line. METAL IS ON THE LINE!
Looking For Laughs and Lessons
This issue also takes the campiness of previous issues and just dives head first into it. Lucifuge and his fellow Lords of Metal are constantly bickering and talking in circles. There’s definitely some funny gags and lines throughout.

Dave getting a visit from Lord Abscess of the Perineum was really cool. The roll he plays in this issue is a lot of fun. Especially the moment he appears to Dave in a moment is moral and ethical ambiguity. Metal heads may seem scary and evil, but there is a respect and heart there as well!
EVENT HORIZON: DARK DESCENT #1: Countdown to Jump
My absolute favorite part of this issue is the last act. It’s like the way the end some movies where they described what happened to everybody in the story. Some of them make sense, go over the top, and some are very funny.
Dark Regards is Artfully Metal
There are a lot of really great angles and frames in this issue. Moments of action are high intensity and draw the eyes to important spots. Big set pieces in this one make the moment feel epic! Characters in this book have been so diverse and fun to watch play in this world. They’re so normal and goofy, but also do some bad-ass things! It’s a great mix of cartoon and gritty action!
Overall Grade 8.6/10
Dark Regards wraps things up in a fun and exciting way. We got to grow with these characters and I really enjoyed them. The story was funny and exciting. Dave Hill mixes comedy with drama and Metal to create a weird and yet satisfying adventure.
