The monsters are calling. Writer Curt Pires, Artist Luca Casalanguida, Colorist Mark Dale, and Letterer Micha Myers have created another fantastic issue.
Read Lost Fantasy #1 Review Here
I said last issue that Luca’s art made the story, and this issue is the same. His art is helping to move the story along, but it’s also helping to show what is happening in the story as well. Add in Mark’s color work and Micha’s letter work, and it all pulls the story together. But it all also makes the story come alive.
Curt’s writing for this issue is amazing. He took what was introduced last issue, and really expanded on it. The world building expanded, and the characters are evolving as well. Curt has taken Issue #1, and really made a story even better.
Speaking of the story, we see a new hunter dispatched into Montana to investigate the killings. Meanwhile, we see Henry fighting for his life. This next part of the story is so fun to read. But it’s also helping to move the story and characters along.
Final Grade: 10/10
This series is 2 issues in, and it is getting so good. Fantasy comic fans will find something to love in this series. But you will also love and enjoy the characters and the world as well.
