The demise of Space Ghost at the metal hands of Metallus shocks everyone. This spells doom for his young sidekicks, unless they get some help from beyond the grave.

Vengeance From Beyond
After the shocking apparent death of Space Ghost, all that stands in Metallus’ way is Jan and Jace. As they continue to try and the save the citizens of Cetia-7 from the robot hordes, Metallus celebrates his victory prematurely. Lieutenant Transor goes to investigate an issue on the ship. Just then he is dispatched by a very much still alive Space Ghost.
With Space Ghost back in the fight, the tides start to turn. Space Ghost goes after Metallus’ minions on route to Metallus. All while Jace & Jan take out the ground troops and save the citizens. With the final battle on the way, will Space Ghost defeat Metallus? Will Space Ghost choose revenge and vengeance over justice? Will our heroes save the planet Cetia-7?
You Can’t Kill a Ghost
Space Ghost #9 was a perfect culmination of the issues leading up to it. Super action packed, with a perfect period on the story of Metallus, for now. This issue has way more action than the last few issues, and slightly less build to the next. However, the fact that David Pepose let the finale of this arc get its own “final issue” was just what the doctor ordered. It also builds intrigue for issue #10 kicking off another chapter to this series.
The art in this series is some of my favorite in all of comics. Every panel is beautiful and jumps off the page. The character designs are next level and fit the world perfectly. The colors match exactly what is going on in the story. With the letters conveying the exact emotion the reader should be feeling.

Final Thoughts
Space Ghost #9 continues the streak of awesome books in this series. Space Ghost in my opinion is the best ongoing series in comics today. Every month the story draws you in and never disappoints you. This series needs to be on your Pull List and if you are not picking up this book at your LCS, turn around and get the book now!
