At the same time Chloe runs into the police, and they are having a hard time believing her story. This lands Chloe in a jail cell. Meanwhile, the master of the Estival has hatched a plan to get the Ghostbox and return them to power. As the Estival and Ghostbox inhabitants race for control of the Ghostbox, Chloe is stuck in the middle while Jan worries for her sister.
We Need a Savior
Ghostbox #2 continues the awesome story that we were introduced to in issue one. Mike Carey continues to build this world while amping up the threats and sense of urgency. Even though the threats of the villainous Estival are imposing, the biggest conflict is that of the sisters just trying to care for one another despite the situation they find themselves in. This issue and story so far have really brought a multi-level approach to this tale.
The art in this issue continues to be impressive and beautiful. Pablo Raimondi and Jose Villarrubia have developed some awesome character designs, each having their own feel and uniqueness. Then they deliver awesome monster designs to bring the whole world together and make your eyes rejoice on every panel.
