Now, the opening page shows a typical weekend for the citizens of Townsville. And while we see a typical day for them, we also see someone else. It’s Mojo Jojo, and we are also getting to see what a typical day is like for him.
And we see him cleaning his place. After cleaning and doing the dishes, he makes his coffee. What I love about this is he uses a Bubbles coffee mug. Mojo Jojo proceeds to go and work on a secret weapon to destroy Bubbles and the girls. However, he gets interrupted several times while working on it.

We then see the girls show up in Mojo Jojo’s place. And they were just fighting Tarantulala. We then see them speed off, and Mojo Jojo is watching them fight Tarantulala. After that, he decides to leave the planet. But first, he needs clothes, food, and his collection of rayguns.
While Mojo is on the moon, he loses power in his house. And as he is trying to set up his solar panel, something unexpected happens. A creature pops up from the ground. Now, he initially tries to make friends with the creature, but that doesn’t work. So Plan B is to attack it.
And even that doesn’t work. So Mojo ends up calling the girls to help him beat this creature. And the Professor has the perfect creation for them to use. He rebuilt Dynamo, and the girls can use her to get to space.
Once on the moon, they are able to take on the creature. And this entire fight sequence is super fun to watch happen. Eventually, the girls throw the creature into deep space. After that, they head back home. And Mojo Jojo hitches a ride as well.
Final Score: 10
Dynamite is continuing to show why The Powerpuff Girls comic is one of the strongest books of the year. The entire creative team is taking this property, and making a comic book that both fans and non-fans can enjoy.
