The Recap:

This issue picks up where issue 2 leaves off with the team in a desperate attempt to rescue General Park from the Sharg army after he sacrificed himself for the team. A massive explosion leaves the fate of Franklin and General Park in the air while the remaining crew arrives back at Earth in quarantine due to coming in contact with the unknown alien.

Their old trainer Captain Tanaka arrives to talk the crew into standing down and figuring out what is happening together. This issue leaves off with Olivia and the crew breaking free to set about the rescue mission.

How do we feel?

This is a comic that knows what it wants to be in that it is a fun science fiction story bringing us back to the beloved tales we grew up reading. Greg continues to subtly build these characters and showcase their determination and bravery and the art remains a strong point in this story.

All in all this issue is setting up a daring rescue that could make or break our cadets and it builds upon the suspense of not knowing how it will turn out.
