The Story for Narco #1
We kick off by meeting our main character, Marcus. He trolls trolls and has an interest in serial killers. He is also interested in Jess. Who seems to have a toxic ex and crappy Wi-Fi. Nevertheless, at the encouragement of his friends, Marcus pursues her. However, he also has a condition that tends to present itself at the worst times…or does it?
The Art
Throughout this issue, the art perfectly moves this mysterious story along. From expressions of happiness to anger, to fear, and more. Every emotion is perfectly nailed. However, the art truly shines when Marcus’ condition flares up. The look on his face, the loss of control, the art takes us somewhere else. Only to drop us right back into the story.

Final Thoughts on Narco #1
Narco #1 is a mysterious, thought-provoking story. Serial killers, Pop-Tarts, dating, and more. There was so much going on, yet it seemed so simple. All with a giant mystery that I can’t wait to uncover. The nod to my personal favorite fictional serial killer was just the extra sprinkles on a peppermint milkshake.
Overall Grade: 10/10
Narco is the 6th book in the “Plastic-verse” and after reading Narco #1, I will definitely be diving more into this world.
