The horrors have set their sights on a small town in Iowa as the early days of this storm-like invasion have no befallen them. While the Mayor and townspeople think they can cut themselves off and ride out the storm, they’ll find they need to take drastic measures if they hope to survive.

Creative Team: Phil Hester (WRITER and LAYOUT), Ryan Kelly (ART), Lee Loughridge (COLORS), and Nathan Widick (LETTERS).
FOC 2 February!
Non-Spoiler Breakdown:
IDW Dark has been on a heater producing some of the best horror comics of the decade over the last few months with books such as Event Horizon Dark Descent and now they step into the world of A Quiet Place!
Phil Hester brings us another unique perspective as the invasion is in its early days and a town is left with a choice to save themselves and abandon many, to include the ones they love. The way Phil brings in the human inner turmoil along with the chaotic fog of what this species is and how they operate leads us into some suspenseful moments that the franchise is known for creating. Lee and Ryan instantly take the reader into this world and have captured the look and the movements and textures of these creatures expertly. There are panels in this issue that will certainly have the reader looking through their fingers and on the edge of their seats.
It’s the perfect way to kick off the next entry into IDW Darks new run as the horror elements are nailed perfectly. You can tell the team is a big fan of the property and this will absolutely be a run that will be flying off the shelves! Make sure to let your LCS know you want to pre-order A Quiet Place: Storm Warning #1 as the final order cutoff is Monday, February 2nd!
