Spider-Man & Wolverine have had a lot of ups and downs since issue #1. Both metaphorically and literally. Now in another universe, thanks to another Reed who has since perished, this fantastic duo faces Arachnix. While it’s not personal, it’s definitely personal.

The Story for Spider-Man & Wolverine #9
Spidey and Wolvie definitely got themselves into it this time. It’s Earth 4587 and they find themselves in the lovely Latveria. Up against Arachnix and the Revengers! In a world with no heroes, they’re hoping to use this to their advantage. However, their saving grace ends up being a bit more brains than brawn. With a side of hilarious banter. All while wrapping up with an ending that many should have seen coming, yet no one did.
The Art
With two of Marvel’s most popular characters teaming up, top tier art is a must to do this duo justice, and this comic delivered!! We immediately kick off with a literal kick ass scene. From the characters, to the action, to the colors. Everything came together perfectly.
This is truly one of those comics, where every single page is frame worthy. Not only were Spidey and Wolvie done beautiful justice in how they were drawn, and colored, but every cameo did as well. All with gorgeous backdrops that made the characters pop. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed the art, lettering, and colors in Spider-Man & Wolverine #9.

Overall Grade: 10/10
Spider-Man & Wolverine #9 had an engaging unexpected story, gorgeous art, and perfectly done chemistry between our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, and Marvel’s short king. I love how far they have come and gone since issue 1. There’s always a respect for each other behind their insults. Even with how different they view life, love, and death. That was all beautifully conveyed, while dropping twist after twist, and leaving us with a blood splattering cliff hanger…to be concluded…
Whether you prefer your heroes friendly or cynical, this is one comic every Marvel fan should grab! THWIP…SKINT!
