The last issue of Geiger was more about the glowing woman, than the glowing man. As she fights for revenge, justice, and survival, an unexpected person has caught up with her while looking for Geiger. This unexpected person may be very familiar to any who are fans of the Ghost Machine world outside the glowing man.

The Story for Geiger #20
While we wrapped up issue 19 with Ashley and Simon Pure, we kick off 20 with Tariq, his adorable 2 headed wolf, and a different soldier from the past. As he explains to Tariq who he is, Tariq thinks he’s insane. Nothing new in a wasteland of a world destroyed by the Unknown War. However, that doesn’t stop him from listening despite his best efforts.

The Art
Explosions, wastelands, flashbacks, and more. Geiger #20 had some absolutely gorgeous moments. From the backdrops to the close up expressions of a man pleading to be listened to, and another who has lost all hope. These close ups perfectly moved the story forward with a single expression. Additionally, every time Tariq Geiger goes full glowing man, it’s just the cherry on the sundae of the already kick ass art.
Overall Grade: 9.5/10
Timelines are colliding and this world seems like it’s about to get much bigger. While much didn’t seem to happen this issue, way more occurred than it seems. Something big is coming, and as much as Geiger likes to pretend he doesn’t care, he can’t seem to stop fighting. Maybe it’s all just a distraction, or maybe he still holds onto hope.
