Catch up with Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League #5!
The Story
After all this time of seeing the team being created, the plan being formed and practiced, and the plan being put into action, we’ve finally come to the end. The plan worked beautifully in the Watchtower, but now the Justice League are onto the plan to steal the power bank. All coming together, the Justice League realizes what’s missing, and they find a way to locate the criminal team.

Klarion transports the team top their designated location, and they come face to face with Black Adam and his group of villains. They demand the power bank for themselves, even threatening Lian to get what they want. It’s revealed that it was all set up by Klarion, who told Black Adam where they would be after they stole the power bank. Between the team’s feelings about Klarion betraying them and having to hand over the power bank to save Lian, things aren’t looking so hot. That is until the real plan is revealed. A plan so cunning and clever, I didn’t see it coming by a mile.
The Writing
Greg Rucka sticks the landing with the last issue of Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League! Everything leading up to the finale has been full of excitement, but the ending was perfectly handled. Throughout the series, Rucka was able to bring so many personalities together that just shouldn’t work, but somehow, they worked beautifully.
With a ragtag team of misfits that bring something different to the team, there was so many great dynamics throughout the story. The ending Rucka gave perfectly showed how well they all work together as a team. He was also able to put a spotlight on each character, giving them their own time to shine, without watering down the other team mates around them. Greg Rucka knocked this story out of the park!
The Art
Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League has been so consistent in its high quality artwork, all thanks to Nicola Scott, Annette Kwok, and Troy Peteri. Together, the creative team brought a beautiful comic that had the art to match the exciting storyline. Nicola Scott managed to make so many amazing characters jump out of the pages with their perfect detailing, while Annette Kwok complimented the drawings perfectly with her use of vibrant contrasting colors. Troy Peteri brings it home with his excellent lettering work, making the dialogue flow perfectly well throughout the comic.
Final Thoughts
Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League #6 was a perfect ending to the high-energy story. The creative team absolutely nailed it!
