The Story for The Lucky Devils #6
Rake is making a name for herself, quite literally. However, while she and Collar have inspired others to follow them, their relationship is in the crapper, and they’re close to getting exposed. Meanwhile, back on Earth, Rake lies low by using some deadly sins on Starr, and Cam goes in an unexpected direction the second his devil dips. A direction that just may end up with him in a padded room. As Cam’s podcast takes a crazy turn, Collar appears ready to go full wrath.

The Art
The level of detail that Ryan Browne delivers in the art brings this comic to a whole other level. From creepy to beautiful, to a glimpse of the shining carpet in hell. I can’t help but take in every inch of every page of The Lucky Devils. The expressions are on point, and the details suck you right in, all the while making you laugh, smile, and cringe. It’s perfect.
Overall Grade: 10/10
The Lucky Devils has been such a great story from issue 1, and it continues to go strong. Whether we’re at a hilariously named club in hell or at a family dinner, there is never a dull moment in story or art. A revolution is brewing, a devil-hunt is in full pursuit, and our humans are spiraling. Things are really heating up (pun intended), and with this being #6/9, I can’t wait to see how this ends.
