The Story

Deadpool is on a mission to deliver Fearless to the Expatriate X-Men, and it’s going about as smoothly as you’d expect. But the good news is that he hasn’t eaten her, so I’d say that’s pretty successful. Deadpool is holding it together as best as he can, ignoring the hunger, to get Fearless to her destination. When they finally arrive, the Expatriate X-Men are less than welcoming to Deadpool, as they detail their history of his crimes. Trying to keep it together proves to be too much as Deadpool’s hunger gives in, causing a battle between the two sides.

Melee is able to get Fearless to safety, but Deadpool gets a visit from an unexpected guest, Cable. Cable, who is back in his clear mind, confronts Deadpool with some very surprising intel that changes the entire trajectory of the story. Everything seems a lot clearer when finding out who is working for who, and who not to trust.

The Writing

Tim Seeley brings the tale of Undeadpool to an end on a very surprising note, and it was handled beautifully. There’s a perfect build up throughout the comic thanks to the inner dialogue, so you can feel the tension of the story clearly. Coming to the end, the energy was high all the way to the last page. Seeley made Undeadpool an entertaining and very loved part of the Age of Revelation, and gave it a perfect ending.

The Art

The artwork of Undeadpool #3 is full of excellent detailing and gorgeous juxtapositions of darkness and vibrancy. My favorite parts of the comic that I think showed off the artists talents the best are the very last pages. There’s an emotional turmoil from the character that is captured and perfectly illustrated by Carlos Magno and colored by GURU-eFX. Joe Sabino, the letterer of Undeadpool #3 does a fantastic job at switching back and forth from the calm tone of the narration, to the high energy current situations in the dialogue. All in all, the artists knocked it out of the park throughout the entire miniseries, bringing the series to a perfect ending.

Final Thoughts

Tim Seeley and the creative team keep the energy high until the very surprising ending! Undeadpool #3 was a wild ride from beginning to end!

Overall Grade – 9.5/10
