Power Rangers Prime #13- Different Locations, Same Mission

The team has been split. Writer Melissa Flores, Artist Federico Sorressa, Colorist Joana Lafuente, and Letterer Ed Dukeshire have made one hell of an artist.

We kick off in Downtown Angel Grove with a rhino-looking creature being chased. He is then attacked, and Bulk shows up to defend him. We then see Lauren jump down from the shadows to attack the guards. After that, she shows back up in her Angel Grove University hoodie, and Val is watching her talk to Bulk. 

After that, Val is in her room, and she is silencing her phone. She then wakes up, and Lauren is pouring her a cup of coffee. We then see Jun’s mom in the room as well, and Val is letting her know how Lauren is getting along at the college. 

We then see how Orion is doing. Rita is showing him how to use magic. Jun has become a loner, but he is working on their T-Rex Zord. We then see the team in a training simulation. 

Val is then talking to Bulk, and she proceeds to go do night patrol, and proceeds to find Orion in the process. They then head into the sewers, and then Lauren is fighting Rita. Orion, Mark, and Val suit up wondering if they should jump into help. 

Lauren then summons her Tyranno Lance, and Val and Orion jump in and stop the fight from continuing. Lauren then explains what has been going on with her, which then leads to a whole conversation between the team. The comic then cuts to a highly secured desert hideout. We see Lauren’s younger brother trying to break out, when a mysterious figure appears. The comic ends with him getting his morpher. 

Overall Grade: 10/10 

We have just a few issues left in this series, and it is getting so good. I cannot wait to see where we go from here.
