The Story for Armored #6
Matt: I love how we now have more depth to our mystery of missing parents! Not only is Andy still searching for his, but now we have another character who seems to also be going through the same dilemma, haunted suit and all! I love how Michael is keeping the mystery going while adding things such as teenage dating problems and advancing the mystery, continuing to pull us deeper into this world.
Lauren: As Andy continues his armored training, a sudden new friend appears. While he thought he was the only teen with a ghost bestie and a suit of armor, he was happily proven wrong. However, the sudden appearance of his new friend, soon leads to a possible clue surrounding Andy’s biggest question: what happened to his parents? All the while, Andy’s new friends aren’t the only ones new to town. All the way from London, these other new residents seem ready and willing to summon whoever needs summoning.

The Art
Matt: It is such a standout artwork in this issue, as with the Armored universe as a whole. The watercolor type coloring for our characters and the various pallettes that they are painted with stand out from panel to panel, bringing about a lively and often times spooky setting to life. Every panel is bursting with detail which you cannot help but stop and linger over!
Lauren: Armored continues to be absolutely gorgeous from beginning to end. Whether there is a battle, a ghost, or simply a conversation, the art makes each page pop. While the water color feel, and amazing colors create an eye candy of a comic, the story is also perfectly told through the art. From the expressions of dread, to the details of a shop, there is something to take in on every page. It truly stands out from any other comic book I’ve read.
Overall Grade: 9/10
Matt: Armored #6 is taking us deeper into the mystery, as there are more kids out in the world who have experienced what Andy is going through, and now someone seems to be playing mind games with them! We are being set up with more action packed spooky fun I cannot wait to follow this next adventure.
Lauren: The first 5 issues of Armored took us on a zombie, ghost knight, possessed parents, roller coaster of a ride. This second arc kicked off with what can only be another amazing ride. With more than one mystery set up, I’m eager to see where it all leads, and how it all connects.
