Monster High: House Haunters #5- The Final Battle

It’s the final battle. Writer Ben Kahn, Artist Sonia Liao, Colorist Rebecca Nalty, and Letterer Johanna Nalty have made an amazing final issue.

We start with Lagoona and Draculaura getting attacked. The cabin ghost then shows up and yells at her mom. She gets called useless, and they start fighting. Draculaura is trying to find something to cut her out of the extension cable. 

Once that is over, her and Lagoona take some tools and go to work using a broom to stop the ghost. Meanwhile, the daughter gets launched into the living room, and Cleo and Clawdeen both check on her. They then give her a name, which turns out to be Maple Lodge. By this time, Frankie gets launched into the living room through a window. 

She’s fine, and is ready to save Cleo and Clawdeen. But first, she has to fight the Gorgon Bear. Back in th basement, Lagoona and Draculaura are trying everything they can. Draculaura then uses her words against the monster. She then punts the garden gnome, grabs the laptop, and uses her magic. 

Meanwhile, Frankie takes out the bear and meets back up with Cleo and the others. After that,  Lagoona is taken out, and the monster is locked in the basement. Maple then attacks her mom, and her and the girls seal her mom down there. We then see that the girls are ready to leave, and Deuce comes in and hits the garden gnome with his car. The final panel shows him and Toralei trying to convince the girls to stay another night. 

Overall Grade: 10/10 

This mini-series was amazing. Ben and their team knocked it out of the park.
